Dogs, dogs, and more dogs... Dogs always seem to be the top choice in our household now and as long as I can remember. As a young boy I can remember getting as close to those conversations as possible. Hearing my father, his friends and colleagues speak of their days in the field with their dogs was always intriguing to me. Back in those days I wasn't able to add much to the conversation but that didn't slow me down. I was content just to listen, learn and think about the day I would be old enough to join the "men" in the family business.

Fast forward 20 some odd years and here I am now filling these shoes. Having been a full time trainer at Vohne Liche Kennels going on four years now. At 25 years old, married and with a young boy of my own on the way, I can only hope that the family business is as intriguing / mystifying to him growing up as it was for me. And who knows, maybe he will one day fill my shoes in this wonderful world we call K-9! Making his own K-9 memories, new friends, and colleagues in our chosen profession.
